10 reasons why You should love MINT

A few weeks ago, I planted a mint bush in my little garden. It blended well with rosemary and thyme, and fresh spices are the best spices, right?
I have always liked to drink mint, in sachets that can be bought in any store, i.e. dried. For a few days I have been drinking only a brewing of fresh mint from my garden. I can not stop wondering how amazing the aroma has tea, much more intense than the one from the sachets, and the fragrance is spreading around the house!

No wonder that mint is a component of many products and dishes. There are many examples, starting with the popular mint chewing gum and mint candy, ending with toothpaste. Mint is used in desserts, often accompanied by chocolate (chocolate-mint ice cream, chocolate with the addition of mint). Fresh mint leaves are also added to many salads and of course to mojitos. The list is so long that I could describe for hours.

In addition to the amazing aroma, taste and color, mint has many health properties. That is why we should reach for it not only in digestive problems.

Mint is a rich source of antioxidants, tannins and phyto-compounds. Stimulates brain functions. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is used as a remedy for easing vomiting and nausea. For centuries used for digestive disorders.
